The Girl’s – r – Cookin’ Restaurant is within walking distance.  Relax and enjoy a great home style meal.  Open six days a week 8 am to 8 pm, and Sunday from 8 am to 2 pm.  The Girl's - r - Cookin' boasts a full menu of family fare with reasonable prices and tasty food.

Rocky Gap State Park is located just four miles west on I-68. They provide swimming, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, and boating on the 243 acre Lake Habeeb.  Birding and nature appreciation can also be an activity on the 500 acres of specially designated state wildlands.

Green Ridge State Forest is the second largest of Maryland’s State Forests and consists of 46,000 acres.  It is located in eastern Allegany County approximately six miles east of Flintstone off I-68 at Exit 64.  You can hunt, fish, bike, backpack, ride off road vehicles and utilize their hunting/shooting range.

Cumberland, Maryland is just 12 miles west of 7 C’s Lodging.  You can find many different and unique places to explore in this historical town.  Anything from riding the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, shopping at Canal Place or sightseeing the wonderful historical houses along Washington Street.  Check out the local events at mdmountainside.com.  There are many fun and exciting things to do in our area.

Greenridge Horse Ranch is approximately six miles east of Flintstone. They offer many different trail rides and exciting adventures.  Look up their web site at greenridgehorseranch.com for a complete list of their activities.

Brooke Whiting House of Art – Something for the art enthusiast.  This is a collection of art that Brooke Whiting obtained during his lifetime.  Must be seen to be appreciated.  They are located at 632 Washington Street in Cumberland, MD.  Give them a call at 301.777.7782 for hours of operation.

Canal Place in Cumberland, MD offers a wide variety of activities from the canal boat replica, festivals, live concerts, Western MD Railway Station, exhibit center and the C & O Canal towpath.  The towpath is great for bike riders who want a little exercise along with relaxation.

Rocky Gap Casino and Resort is just four miles west of us on I-68 and provides those who like the night life with a nearby place for excitement.
